Since 1950, Hatco has introduced many “firsts” to the industry. Developing the Electric Booster Water Heater to increase the water temperature to 180° F for sanitation, in the 1960’s the company added Third Compartment Sink Heaters to the water line. The first conveyor toaster, Toast King® helped high volume kitchens meet customer demand while the company’s highly successful Glo-Ray® aluminum housing extended food holding times by reflecting direct heat to the outer edges of holding areas. As the company expanded through the 1970’s, Hatco’s foodwarmer lines grow to include portable foodwarmers, decorative lamps, heated wells and much more.
